Lyle Harrison, who earned his journeyman cabinetmaker certificate from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, came to the cabinetry field after working for several years in the veterinary and oil industries. He began his career in cabinetry as an apprentice at Stettler Custom Cabinets in the late 1970s. After completing his apprenticeship, Mr. Harrison spent two years co-managing the operation, overseeing all aspects of the business from project planning to cabinet installation. From 1990 to 1992, Mr. Harrison served as the Shop Foreman at Tiara Cabinets, a major Alberta-based cabinet manufacturing firm.

In 1993, Lyle Harrison combined his experience as a shop manager and a cabinet craftsman to open his own business, Wolf Creek Cabinets, with his wife, Lora Lea Harrison. The two work together to design, manufacture, and install custom cabinetry with a focus on private residences. Over the past two decades, the company has grown into one of the most respected cabinetmaking operations in the province. In 2011, Wolf Creek Cabinets swept the awards for Best Kitchen Design bestowed by the Canadian Kitchen Cabinet Association.

When Lyle Harrison is away from the shop, he enjoys fly fishing, golfing, and curling. He is also a passionate home beer brewer and beer historian who participates in a number of craft beer forums.
